Description
Warm Springs is a less visited airstrip. The approach from the west is easy due to lack of trees and downsloping terrain. There is a usually quiet campground located to the south of the runway. The hot springs are a short walk to the northeast of the airport. Note that there are two trails. The one that goes downhill to the car camping area is the correct one. If you are going uphill above the runway it is incorrect. The hot springs themselves are extremely hot. Be mindful of animals as they will be severely burned from jumping in at the wrong location. The hot springs feed into a creek where rock formations make up different pools of water. You can choose a preferred temperature based on pool and how close/far it is from the mixing point of the creek and the hot springs.
