Residents of the adjoining neighborhood can be occasionally seen walking dogs or riding bicycles on the runway. Summer flying allows for use of an unmarked parallel grass runway. In winter the grass is not maintained and is VERY soft. Caution should be used as Geese are present on the field in the late winter/early spring. Trees and Roadway present obstacles when approaching or departing Runway 28; there is a 300' set back for safety on runway 28. Trees also present an obstacle on approach and departure on runway 10.
