Nehalem Bay is an excellent camping location in Oregon. The town of Manzanita is a reasonable walking distance from the airport (about 1.5 miles), or a short bike ride if you have folding bikes. There are a myriad of lodging and food options in town. The beach is also a short walk from the airport.
The airport has six campsites available for a small nightly fee through a pay box at midfield across from the parking. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card (via paper so you'll probably want to bring cash to avoid writing down your credit card info).
Like all coastal airports, fog can prevent departures/arrivals even when inland areas are clear. Check the weather forecast carefully when planning an overnight trip.
