- All apch/dep route helicopter opns are conducted in such a way as to avoid tower to the ssw and the glider port to the nw. all helicopter opns are conducted in vfr conditions only. landing area is ltd to private use. the takeoff/landing area is appropriately marked including a wind indicator. no night helicopter opns are conducted unless the takeoff/landing area and wind indicator remain lgtd and arpt identifcation beacon is installed. unauthorized persons will not access the takeoff/landing area during helicopter flight opns by use of a non-obstructing safety barrier. fire protection is provided in accordance with the nfpa 418, local fire code and ac 150/5390-2b.
