The proponent must meet all state and local requirements; the landing area must be l imited to private use only; and al l operations must be conducted visually. because this is a private use heliport, al l operators proceed at their own risk. to enhance the safety of operations, we recommend: i ) all helicopter approach i departure route operations should be conducted on a 140 degree clockwise to 230 degree egress course i 320 degree clockwise to 050 degree ingress course using the center of the heliport as the reference point; 2) a wind indicator continues to be maintained adjacent to the heliport away from the approach and departure routes, and outside the safety area; 3) no night helicopter operations are conducted unless the heliport and wind indicator are l it in accordance with ac i 50/5390-2c, paragraphs 41 5 and 41 1 c; 4) the takeoff/ landing area is appropriately marked in accordance with ac i 50/5390-2c, paragraph 414; 5) the heliport proponent will reexamine obstacles in the vicinity of the approach/departure paths on an annual basis i n accordance with ac 150/5390-2c, paragraph 409e. any new obstacles noted will be forwarded to the airport district office, flight standards district office or regional flight standards division; 6) unauthorized persons are restrained from access to the takeoff/landing area during helicopter flight operations (notably on the road to immediately east of the heliport); 7) fire protection is provided...
