Remarks
  • We have determined that the proposed private use landing area, will not adversely affect the safe and efficient use of the navigable airspace by aircraft, provided: all operations are conducted in vfr weather conditions. the landing area is limited to private use. the takeoff/landing area is appropriately marked. a non-obstructing wind indicator is maintained adjacent to the takeoff/landing area. use of the helipad is restricted to vfr only. a non-obstructing lighted wind indicator is maintained adjacent to the takeoff/landing area, but located outside the safety area and approach/departure paths. the flood lights that are located near the helipad should be check to ensure they illuminate the helipad and not pointing up in the air so as the blind the blind on approach or departure. the poles that protect the helipad lighting should be painted a highly visible color. only one helicopter shall occupy the helipad at a time. vfr approaches should be 180, 090 or 360 degrees. vfr departures should be 360, 270 or 180 degrees.
