Description

The local EAA chapter maintains a bike shed at the airport here. See https://chapters.eaa.org/eaa855/bike-shed for details. A bike trail runs north to south adjacent to the runway. Biking either direction leads to food options under a mile from the airport.

Roughly a mile to the north is the Appalachian Trail for hiking.

Starting at the windsock is a trail leading to a camping area in the woods between the airport and the river.
