Lake Wenatchee State is within walking distance to its namesake Lake Wenatchee and the state park campground along the shore. Camping on the field is allowed too. On the south side of the Wenatchee River is a swimming beach also located within the state park. Along the way to the swimming beach is Headwaters Pub. Located nearby are numerous cabins for rentals both near Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake just to the north.
