I love the Auburn airport but I may be a bit biased since I fly out of it on a regular basis. It is an airport you need to be on your toes when arriving and departing because of the SeaTac bravo and terrain creating fairly constrained airspace for both airport and transiting traffic as well as a fair bit of flight school activity, it’s well worth checking the airport website about the pattern flow if you’re not familiar with the area. Be aware of the powerlines north of the field - generally not an issue but if you tend to fly flat approaches or departures it’s worth knowing where they area. Auburn is a great lunch stop, there isn’t a restaurant on the field but since it’s right off the main road there are a bunch of food choices almost literally out the gate and across the street from transient parking.
