This is basically a USFS airstrip that is well-maintained, but summer only. Winter months the runway is not plowed, and you can assume it will be snow-covered from November through as late as May.
In summer you'll find many fire-fighting ops staging out of Blue Canyon so be aware that it could get busy.
While it's right next to I-80, it's a couple miles from the Nyack offramp so it effectively has "no services". That also means no restroom/no pilot lounge etc.
